Why The Greater Philadelphia Boat Show ?
In these troubling economic times how you spend your advertising dollars and the return you generate from them have never been more important. Sales are down, budgets are cut, but there's one thing that hasn't changed......consumers interested in buying boats still go to boat shows. In fact a recent study done by the University of Michigan found 55% of boat buyers had attended a boat show within the 6 months prior to making their buying decision. ( for more details on why boat shows work go to WHY BOAT SHOWS WORK under To Exhibit ) So are all boat shows a good investments? The answer is no. Boat shows are like any other form of advertising.....it must offer a good ROI (return on investment). The Greater Philadelphia Boat Show meets all the criteria for a successful show including:
GREAT FACILITY/ CONVENIENT LOCATION
A good facility has to be exhibitor and consumer friendly. The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center is just that. For consumers it means a convenient suburban location with acres of free parking. For exhibitors it means large loading doors, high ceilings, plenty of room for advance staging and trailer storage.
Our pricing makes our show one of the least expensive boats shows serving a major metropolitan market. As an example our cost per square foot is up to 75% less that the Atlantic City Boat Show.
Talked about stress -free move in and move-out. No unions, no hassles, no worries, and best of all no additional cost.
As the old saying goes " you have to spend money to make money" . This has never been truer than in relation to a successful boat show and has always been our motto at Royal Productions. You could have the biggest and best boat show but if you don't advertise it well it won't be successful. Even with a smaller show and down economy we'll still spend approximately $100,000 advertising the show on television, radio, print, and direct mail. Ask any dealer that's ever participated in one of our events and they'll tell you we "don't skimp on advertising"
Everyone wants to do business with people they trust and respect. Over the years Royal Productions has earned a solid reputation for offering fair and honest service. When we produce a show it's not a one time shot. We produce events for the "long haul" and that means treating our customers right year after year.
